Will Anna Hazare

Social activist Anna Hazare’s fast unto death to protest against corruption has sparked a nationwide outcry with thousands supporting his move. Hazare wants the citizens of India to be involved in the drafting of a stronger anti-corruption Lokpal Bill. He and other activists claim the government, which is against the move, has diluted the bill so that it lacks any teeth. While corruption as an issue is occupying the public’s mind, right now, like never before, such campaigns tend to fizzle out eventually once the fatigue factor settles in. Will the movement started by Anna Hazare bear any result?
